POP stands for Post Office Protocol. These are your email boxes in ENANA’s server that can be accessed directly to retrieve your mail using such programs as Microsoft Outlook, Eudora, Outlook Express and Netscape Mail. Each POP account has its own password to ensure privacy. For example, let’s say you have 5 employees, each needing his or her own email address that needs to be checked individually. Then each of your employees will receive a POP3 email account. The advantage to POP3 Email Accounts is that you can check your email from anywhere in the world where you have access to the Internet.
How is this different than email aliases? Per POP3 email account, you can have multiple email aliases. Let’s say your POP3 email account is This email address is being protected from spambots. Front Page Extensions
Hiring a professional web site designer is very expensive. There is a do-it-yourself alternative of using programs such as Microsoftâ FrontPage, one of the most popular and easy to use web site design and management tools for average people like us. Incidentally, the majority of ENANA customers build and maintain their web sites themselves. It’s a very simple process to go through if you’re equipped with the right software tools. All Unix web hosting and ecommerce plans support FrontPage2002(and older) extensions, and all Windows2000 web hosting plans support Front Page2002(and older) extensions free of charge so that you can utilize all the advanced FrontPage functionalities.
A copy of Microsoft FrontPage can be purchased at any on- and off-line software shop.

Your Own Local CGI-bin
With your own local CGI-bin directory, you can store custom CGI scripts written by yourself or found elsewhere on the Web. It is the prevalent way to create dynamic output from a webpage. Used in conjunction with a script, it can be executed in real time through a webpage. CGI can do everything from hit counters, guest books, order forms, and many other useful features.

Perl Support

Active Server Pages (ASP)
Active Server Pages (ASP) allows for powerful web application development. It enables you to dynamically generate browser-neutral contet useing server-side scripting.

PHP
PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor, an open source, server-side, HTML embedded scripting language used to create dynamic Web pages. Because PHP is embedded within tags, the author can jump between HTML and PHP instead of having to rely on heavy amounts of code to output HTML. And, because PHP is executed on the server, the client cannot view the PHP code. PHP can perform any task that any CGI program can do, but its strength lies in its compatibility with many types of databases.

MySQL Database
MySQL is the world's most popular Open Source Database, designed for speed, power and precision in mission critical, heavy load use. You receive a 20MB database with this hosting account.

SSI (Server Side Includes)
A server side feature that automatically inserts text and code into web pages when a browser accesses them. Pages that use this technology have a .shtml file extension.

Domain Name
Having your own domain name (www.yourcompany.com) gives you the control to set yourself apart from the rest of the dot com’s and enables you to successfully promote your brand online. It’s like hanging your own signage in front of your door.
A domain name is an easy-to-remember Internet address in plain alphabet (such as companyname.com) which is translated automatically into an IP address.
Domain name registration fee is separate from web hosting charges.
